Misty Calmness! - Tarn Hows, Lake District

On our first day this year in the English Lake District, we arrived quite late in the evening and were met with the typical "Lakes" weather - Misty, rainy and dark. I was delighted to find out that Tarn Hows was just a 20 mins or so walk from were we were staying, and we decided to make the most of the rest of the day by taking a stroll to the beautiful location. What I had heard about Tarn Hows looking mystical in misty or foggy weather was absolutely true. I would have loved having a golden fiery sky reflecting in calm waters, but I think this look works well too and adds a sense of mystery and drama to the shot.
