Guarding the Lake! - Buttermere Sentinels, Lake District

Sunset at the Buttermere Sentinels. I had heard and seen pictures of the sentinels and most of them were at sunrise with perfect reflections. Then I read somewhere that in the summers the tress are brilliantly lit for a brief moment by the setting sun. As usual we were running a bit late and that's when I realised just how brief that moment was. The light hit the sentinels and the lake house for literally less that one minute and I barely managed to setup and get two quick shots before the light just went poof! It was rather windy so there were no reflections but I think the shot still turned out nice.
