Boundless Blue! - Buttermere, Lake District

This picture remind me of the sayings "Blue has no dimensions, it is beyond dimensions." by Yves Klein and "A certain blue enters your soul" by Henri Matisse. This is actually not the blue hour, but just before sunset. The sky was thickly overcast most of the day, but just moments before this shot, a few openings appeared to let some light through. Well, you could call it pre-blue hour. And I think the subtle greens go well with the blue to give this picture an ethereal feel.
